SRI LANKA ALL-INCLUSIVE TOUR 2022 ITINERARY

DAY 01 | AIRPORT – NEGOMBO / SURIYA HOTEL 4*
Arrive at the airport and transfer to your hotel.
Spend the rest of the day at the hotel to acclimatize by making use of the beach, the generous swimming pool and other hotel facilities.
Dinner & overnight at your Negombo hotel

DAY 02 | COLOMBO – CULTURAL TRIANGLE / AMAYA LAKE RESORT 4*
Breakfast at the hotel. After a brief Colombo city tour proceed to Dambulla via Pinnawela the Elephant Orphanage.
Colombo, the throbbing metropolis, is not only the country's commercial capital, but also the turbine that impels above 50% of the national GDP flanking Colombo's fancy urban development effort. Drive along the clean streets edging the crystal white Racecourse horse racing hub in 1893 & World War II airstrip furnished today with lavish clothing, food & tea boutiques.
En-route to Dambulla visit the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela, home to many orphaned elephants who can roam freely. But why does a visit to Pinnawela create so much excitement? This is the one place you would get to see these gentle giants up close when they stroll to the nearby river at  10.00 am and  2.00 pm daily.  It’s an opportunity to take lots of pictures of them taking a bath, enjoying the water, playing, and socializing with the rest of the herd.
The cave temple in Dambulla, dating back to 1st century B.C. houses some of the most unique drawings in magnificently constructed 5 cave temples flanking the golden temple of Dambulla. Observe how exquisitely the cave paintings are done along walls that shelter 150 statues of Lord Buddha. As you enter the retreat, look straight up to the gigantic Buddha statue glittering in gold over a land.

DAY 03 | CULTURAL TRIANGLE – KANDY / AMAYA HILLS RESORT 4*
Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Sigiriya and climb the rock fortress, the 5th-century rock citadel of King Kasyapa, and a World Heritage Site. Sigiriya doesn't only boasts of ancient Sri Lankan engineering & urban planning supremacy but also acclaims to be one of the finest monuments of art & culture. Surrounded by ramparts & moats the Lion Rock, resembling the mythological 'City of Gods' is coated by frescoes that relate to Gupta-style paintings found in Ajanta caves of India.
Thereafter proceed to Kandy via Matale and visit an Ayurvedic Spice Garden.
Late afternoon Kandy city sightseeing including a visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic. If time permits view a cultural show.
Kandy the last royal capital of Sri Lanka is another World Heritage Site and its culture, history, and heritage still impresses visitors from across the globe. Experience an ancient Kandyan legacy engraved around its crown jewel, the temple of the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha.

DAY 04 | KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA / ARALIYA RED HOTEL 4*
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Transfer to Nuwara Eliya via Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens and a tea plantation & tea factory where you can witness the process of making the famous Ceylon tea.
Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens was first developed as a pleasure garden under royalty and later harmonized by the British. Today the Royal Botanical Gardens are a flourishing national asset and one of the Wonders of Asia. Walk into this 147-acre bliss of an experience, passing well-tended lawns, pavilions & an octagon conservatory to be greeted by the vast expanse of magnificently landscaped lush green turf which will encourage you for an exhilarating break.
Late afternoon, do a city tour of Nuwara Eliya on misty steep roads, twisting through lush green blankets of tea bushes in a cool climate. A former British colonial retreat, Nuwara Eliya still has the English countryside atmosphere, studded with colonial bungalows, hedgerows & one of the finest 18-hole golf courses in the world.

DAY 05 | NUWARA ELIYA – BENTOTA BEACH / PANDANUS BEACH RESORT 4*
Breakfast at the Hotel
Transfer to Bentota Beach on Sri Lanka's South Coast. Rest of the day enjoy the beach and watersports at your leisure.
Dinner and overnight at your Bentota hotel

DAY 06 | BENTOTA BEACH – AIRPORT
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer back to the airport or your next destination in Sri Lanka
