      The Main House has a large sitting room furnished with antiques, a dining room which seats 12 and a study where you can watch international news via satellite TV. There are 2 guest bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with their own bathrooms. The twin bedroom has an additional bedroom leading off it with a single bed.
The swimming pool is a wonderful vantage point from which to gaze at the view 20 miles down the valley. The pool is fed from our own borehole and we use very little in the way of chemicals, greatly enhancing the pleasure of swimming. The Main House has a colonial-style veranda, immediately adjacent to which is the large open-sided Pavilion, where meals are normally eaten and which also provides a shady retreat for reading and admiring the view.
Ellerton is close to the geographic centre of Sri Lanka. Colombo and the international airport is 3 hours away and the World Heritage city of Kandy with its renowned botanical gardens and other tourist attractions is 30 minutes drive. The Cultural Triangle to the north is only 2 hours away making Ellerton an excellent base from which to explore the island.
